The White Swan at Blyth (formerly known as the White Swan Inn) located in the pretty village of Blyth, in the Bassetlaw area of Nottinghamshire, re-opened on Monday 28th November 2011 following an extensive refurbishment.  We have always been very keen to ensure that the character and charm of this traditional village pub is maintained, whilst ensuring that the drinking and dining facilities we offer our customers are second to none.

Our ethos is 'quality without compromise' and the aim of all of our team is to provide you with a  warm welcome, traditional British food, locally sourced and beautifully cooked and presented by our award winning and highly trained Chefs, complemented by a selection of carefully chosen wines, beers and local cask ales. 

Since opening, we have gained an enviable reputation, which has been recognised by us achieving a much coveted entry into The Good Food Guide 2013 www.thegoodfoodguide.co.uk one of only 12 establishments in Nottinghamshire to do so.

In December 2012, following an inspection we found out that we have also gained an entry into Alistair Sawday's Special Places to Eat and Drink 2013 Guide www.sawdays.co.uk

As well as this, we are delighted to have been named the Winner of The Publican's Morning Advertiser Great British Pub Awards 'Best Newcomer' for the Yorkshire, North East and Scotland Region 2012

Our traditional village pub, with its wooden beams, flagstone floors and cosy real log fires, makes the White Swan at Blyth the perfect place to visit whether it's for a Pint of locally produced Ale, a Lunchtime Snack or a Three Course Meal and a Bottle of Wine.

Our Pub Classics and A la Carte Menus contain traditional British dishes as well as some seasonal specials, which reflect the local produce that the season has to offer.  Our Menus change regularly to reflect this.

Our Dining Room, with its high ceilings and beautiful stripped wooden floor can accommodate up to twenty five people and makes it the ideal venue for all types of family celebrations or private events. Richard will be happy to discuss menu ideas with you and will personally tailor a Menu to suit both your taste and budget.
